What I Offer

My mission is to enable and encourage parents to navigate their homeschooling journey easily and confidently. I aim to equip them with tools to educate their children, remove all the “fluff,” and share the ideas, experiences, and wisdom of generations of homeschooling parents who have come before us.

I am passionate about our calling as parents, and I would love to share all the goodness homeschooling and homemaking offers families. All the information I provide can be obtained at no cost or low cost through books and online resources. However, sometimes, you, like myself, just want to talk to a human and have a guide to answer some tough questions. That is where I can partner with you. My services are a la carte and customized to fit the needs of each family.

I look forward to connecting and partnering with parents to raise the next generations and, thereafter, world changers.

How to Begin Homeschooling

Are you ready to start homeschooling but not sure where to start? Being totally new to homeschooling and leaving the private or public school structure behind is not an easy decision.  There is the academic side and the state laws that leave many parents with questions. I answer these questions and guide you through the initial process.

Choosing Curriculum

Where do you start the home-schooling experience? How do you avoid being overwhelmed by it? There are a plethora of curriculum options. The most important idea is that each one has a philosophy behind it. My mission is to guide you in making the best decision for your family. Some options are no cost, which is a great way to start if you are still deciding which direction to go.

Selecting Enrichment Classes

Enrichment makes something more meaningful, substantial, or rewarding. It improves something. In this instant, we are improving and building on our child’s education.

Based on the Charlotte Mason philosophy, we do not educate for utilitarian purposes; we educate to help the child have many connections to the world, “the science of relations.” We also want to help round out the child’s education.

I guide the parents in choosing the best ones for their child, and we discuss future goals, such as attending university. There is a sensibility in preparing the child for university should they choose to attend. Therefore, enrichment classes have a dual responsibility.

How to Supplement a Public School Education

Do you want to homeschool but have some constraints? The good news is you can still take the lead on your children’s education. This is a homeschool website. Therefore, I am partial to the education parents can offer their children. Understanding that not all can do so, I am passionate about connecting parents with resources to help them best guide their children, otherwise known as supplementing an outsourced education.

We explore alternative options, advocating for the child’s needs and parents’ desire to be part of enriching their children’s education.

Bugeting

Budgeting controls your finances, shows when to adjust your spending, and helps you decide where your money goes instead of wondering where it all went. I will guide you through the step-by-step process using practical principles. There is no fluff, program, or app you need; just a pen and notebook will get you started.

Living on One Income

The reasons may vary for each family, but the principles for living on one income remain the same. It is reasonable to think this is an impossible task, but I will  guide through the step-by-step process using the Dave Ramsey philosophy.

Home Organization

My mission is to create and implement customized solutions that will help you achieve a well-organized, curated home. Offering lasting principles and guided techniques that are easily transferable to each room and home.

I am sure that there is no place in the world where your message would not be enhanced by your making the place (whether tiny or large, a hut or a palace) orderly, artistic, and beautiful with some form of creativity, some form of art.’”
