About

I created Simple Sweet Home after five years of motherhood, seven years of marriage, and a novice attempt at a YouTube channel. I have landed on creating a blog; Simple Sweet Home is a place for me to share my thoughts or, better yet, the thoughts of others that have stood the test of time.

How it Started

Hello there!

I am Liv Muller, a wife and mom passionate about our family. We believe everything starts in the home, from habits to happiness.

We are Christ’s followers, and through God’s extraordinary grace, we have learned and continue to learn our duty as parents exceeds far beyond daily tasks.

In a time when culture is moving away from Truth, we are seeking it more. In 2022, we decided to homeschool our daughter, which has genuinely changed our lives.

We homeschool using the Charlotte Mason philosophy. We base our educational teachings on her tried-and-true method.

You know the truth when you hear it, and Charlotte Mason’s works hold just that.

The noble work of discipleship and motherhood is fulfilling. It is perhaps the most important job one should embrace if given the opportunity.

I began this blog as a creative outlet, but I have been so moved by the homeschooling process that I must share all its goodness.

If you are interested in simplicity, home education, and homemaking, you have landed on the right page. I post new content monthly and would love to connect with you. Enjoy!

Having found the book which has a message for us, let us not be guilty of the folly of saying we have read it. We might as well say we have breakfasted as if breakfasting on one day should last us for every day! The book that helps us deserves many readings, for assimilation, comes by slow degrees.
