Equipment

  • 1 Cookie Sheet
  • 1 Electric mixer

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup all-purpose flour
  • Cup unsweetened cocoa power
  • ½ tsp Baking soda
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ Stick of butter
  • ½ Cup light brown sugar
  • Cup sugar
  • 1 Lagre egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat over to 350 degrees and butter the cookie sheet.
  • Using a mixing bowl, sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, using an electric mixer combine the butter and sugar. Mix for 2-3 minutes.
  • Then gradually add dry mix on low speed, just until combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips using a spatula.
  • Using a large spoon or ice cream scooper, make cookie dough balls. Leave space in between they will expand.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes; depending on the oven, it could take slightly longer. Insert a toothpick; if it comes out clean, they are ready.
  • Transfer to wire racks, and let cool for about 3-5 minutes. Enjoy!
